My wife began family game nights so that we aren’t just sitting on our phones each night and we are actually interacting. While my pre-teen is sometimes annoyed with our joy to start family game night she has found her friends have expressed their jealousy and wish their parents would spend time with them.

Sequence is another strategic game my family has enjoyed for a few years now. It started when our friends brought the game over and introduced us to this highly addictive board game. Sequence is all about strategy and requires everyone to put their phone down and pay attention.
Play a card from your hand, and place a chip on a corresponding space on the game board. When you have five in a row, it’s a SEQUENCE. Learn to block your opponents or remove their chips, and watch out for the Jacks – they’re wild! With a little strategy and luck, you’ll be a winner.

Kids Against Maturity
Kids Against Maturity will have both you and your children laughing. Kids Against Maturity combines the tried and tested fill-in-the-blank game-play, a perfect enjoyable hilarious way to bring your family together.

CLUE – Harry Potter Edition
I am sure you played the classic Clue board game when you grew up. Well, think of it as the same but with a Harry Potter twist!
Move around the board as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna, or Neville, and try to discover who vanished, what spell was used, and where the crime happened. Players can move the wheels in the corners of the board to reveal secret passages, changing staircases, which doors may or may not be available to use, or the Dark Mark may appear.

Monopoly
No game list for family game night is complete without Monopoly! A game most of us adults grew up playing with friends and family.

If you want something a little less board game and with more activity then give Pop Darts a try.
Pop Darts is like lawn darts but less dangerous and is played indoors.
These darts are supposed to stick to any flat surface. The kitchen floor, dining room table or even kitchen island can all work for your playing surface.
Just place the target marker and everyone takes turns throwing their darts closest to the target.
